These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Simple Google Reviews Shopify application ("App") provided by Simple Google Reviews ("we", "our", or "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of Service

Simple Google Reviews is a Shopify application that allows merchants to display Google Reviews on their Shopify storefront. The App retrieves publicly available review data from Google and renders it as a customizable widget on your store.

3. Account and Installation

• You must have a valid Shopify store to use the App.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account.
• You agree to provide accurate information during installation and configuration.

4. Pricing and Billing

• The App offers a free plan and paid plans as described on our pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify's billing system.
• Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes affect their subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Display fake, fabricated, or misleading reviews on your store.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
• Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or services.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its features.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Simple Google Reviews and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in connection with your Shopify store.

7. Google Reviews Data

• The App displays publicly available Google Reviews data. We do not own or control this content.
• Google Reviews content is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of Google Reviews data.
• Review availability may be affected by changes to Google's services or APIs.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Simple Google Reviews shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Simple Google Reviews, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may uninstall the App at any time through your Shopify admin. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
